Girls Paint Night with Smile
Thanks to our sponsor the Polish and Slavic Center, the meeting could have taken place in the premises of the PSC free of charge.
A great evening, in which 65 ladies took part in collecting funds to help pay for Kacper’s rehabilitation.
That evening, an instructor from the Paint Boire company taught these ladies how to paint a beautiful picture.
Mrs. Ewa Weglarz, an artist, a student of Professor Zacharow, a foundation volunteer for many years, expertly helped to get the “right "line at the sketch of a blossoming tree... The amused "artists" showed their talents, some of them held the brush in their hands for the first time .... they created real works of art. Undoubtedly this evening many ladies discovered their own painting talent. To continue our talents, the Women's Day by the easel will be our annual artistic event - said Joanna Mrzyk, executive director of the foundation. It was a great evening, spent in great company of talented ladies.
A symbolic glass of wine to celebrate the International Women’s Day was funded by the Children’s Smile Foundation.
We would like to thank the Polish and Slavic Center for making the hall available free of charge and supporting our charitable activity, and for all the ladies who have gathered this evening, we wish that the day of women lasts a whole year!
