Valentine’s Day Ball
This year, the guests were awaited by a "red carpet", where they were very eager to pose for the party's participants.
The Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men, Inc. was our honorary guest and we address our appreciation to them for many years of supporting the charitable activity of the foundation, and for funding the main prize.
The Ball was special due to the wonderful gifts donated by the Presidential Couple of the Republic of Poland. A beautiful necklace with amber in silver, a gift from the First Lady, was auctioned for $5,000, and the pen-marker of President Donald Trump, which signed the declaration with Poland, a gift from President Andrzej Duda, was auctioned for $2,300.
Our special guest that night was the great artist Joanna Sarapata, who donated her work, the watercolor "Spring Act" to auction. The work was auctioned for $4,700. The second painting by the well-known Polish artist Bogdan Kujawski went for $3,000.
Great and generous sponsors founded attractive prizes: HP Laptop (A. Dybanowski), jewelry from Tiffany (B. Jakubowski) tickets for Gram-X and Musicart concerts, Travel Voucher from Voyager Club USA and trip from Ampol, Inc. Income from the $6,000 lottery will be used to pay for the rehabilitation of Amelia from Long Island, who is in an oncology clinic in Manhattan.
Mariusz Sniarowski, the current president of the Foundation, presented the new president of Childrens' Smile Foundation, Beata Klar-Jakubowski who will take on a role starting March. The new president has been associated with the foundation for many years, she has been a treasurer for the last few years.
We thank Mariusz Sniarowski for his excellent work for the last two years as the president, and we are very happy that he will be the vice-president for the next two years.
