Maspeth Feast - June 1, 2019 - Photos!

Maspeth Feast - June 1, 2019 - Photos!
This year Maspeth Feast was held under the slogan “Summer with Harleys”. For years, the foundation has organized this fun event for children on their holiday. Last Saturday at Holy Cross R.C Church, many people attended from the Polonia of Maspeth, from Ridgewood and even from Long Island.

A great summer afternoon gave everyone an opportunity to celebrate. There was cotton candy, lollipops, prized competitions, bouncy castle, beauty salon, tattoos, face painting, balloons and much, much more. This sunny afternoon would not be the same without the performance of a very talented band GAUDETE directed by Ewa Gindorowicz. The audience was greeted with thunderous applause by the wonderful performance of children with a song dedicated for special guests of Harleys, “My Harley".

Representatives of Harley clubs all over NY arrived on bikes. You could take pictures on Harley and motorcyclists even gave gifts to children. For adults, there were grilled dishes prepared by the Foundation's Board of Directors.

The Childrens Smile Foundation would like to wholeheartedly thank the Polish-Slavic Federal Credit Union, the main sponsor of the Children's Day festivities. At the festival there were ladies from the Maspeth branch with Manager Mrs. Malgorzata Leniartek, which at their great booth gave children and adults great gifts and prizes. Mrs. Malgorzata Leniartek presented to the lottery winners a prize funded from her branch in Maspeth, of a gift certificate for the amount of $ 200 and a huge "Summer Basket"

The main prize was a 49 "Smart TV funded by the School of Polish Language and Culture named after Saint Jan Paul II in Maspeth. The sponsor of prizes in the lottery was the advocate company The Perecman Firm, in which the Vice President of the foundation, Mariusz Sniarowski, AMN Corporation and Bridge Capital Enterprises.

It was also possible to win a two-day trip (sponsor Voyager Club USA - Joanna Mrzyk) and toys and sports games funded by Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men, Inc.

The proceeds from the lottery were designated for families in need here in our town of Maspeth.             A special guest was the Grand Marshal of the Pulaski Parade, Dariusz Barcikowski from CT, who said a few words to the guests gathered at the festival.

The program prepared by Slavica Dance was very popular. The founder Justyna Bolek -Adamek has been specially coined from Poland to conduct classes in NY. Children and even their Moms repeated exercises and imitated Justyna with folklore music.

There was great fun with the band, The Masters which brought the gathered guests into a great dancing mood. Music competitions were great fun for both children and adults.
