20th Anniversary of Our Charitable Work
Among the distinguished guests were Bishop Witold Mroziewski, Consul of the Republic of Poland Katarzyna Konopka, Members of the Board of Directors of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, Henry Walentowicz, Esq., and Mariusz Sniarowski, Esq., along with the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee Artur Dolega, Members of the Pulaski Association of Business & Professional Men, with Andrzej Natkaniec and Pawel Wierzbicki, Esq, well recognized artists Janusz Skowron & Bogdan Kujawski and members of Polska Running Team Pawel Mysliwiec & Urszula Musik.
Also, in attendance were former and current Members of the Board of Directors and volunteers of the Children’s Smile Foundation including the Founder Krzysztof Rostek and people involved in the Foundation since its beginnings.
It was a great opportunity for us to express our gratitude and sincere thanks to all people in attendance and those who contributed over the years their time and monies, for their dedication and continuous support that has been enabling us to help disadvantaged children in need.
The guests were greeted with welcoming remarks by Beata Klar-Jakubowski, the President of the Foundation, followed by a short presentation summarizing the activities and support given over the years to the children.
The special thanks were directed to the Founder of the Foundation, Krzysztof Rostek and his family, for their tremendous support and dedication contributing to the growth of this organization.
The special recognition was given to the following: Belvedere Bridge, Inc., Holy Cross Parish of Maspeth, Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, Pulaski Association of Business & Professional Men, Inc., and School of Polish Language and Culture of Holy John Paul II in Maspeth.
After the official part concluded, the guests were pleased to listen to the exceptional performances by Wojciech Bukalski – bass, Monika Krajewska mezzo-soprano and Yelena Kurdina grand piano.
The entertainment portion of the event included cocktails, champagne and gourmet food prepared by Beata Klar- Jakubowski with assistance of the volunteers Grazyna, Barbara and Victoria. During that time the attendees had an opportunity to contribute to the fundraiser for the children in need.
