Maciek Moga - March 2018
Maciek Moga from Chorzow, Poland is 15 years old, and he suffers from Duchenne Muscle Dystrophy. This is an incurable genetic disease that is characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness.
There is no cure for this disease as of today, unfortunately Maciek will not be able to become an athlete, engineer, pilot or a doctor. Maciek had been very motivated to keep fighting his disease, up until the death of one of his very close friends (both boys suffered from the same disease). Since then, he stopped seeing any reason to live. Now he doesn't even smile and keeps everything cooped up inside of him. Maciek’s one and only dream of many years is to visit New York. He planned to experience the magic of the city of infinite possibilities for many years.
