The only doctor that agreed to treat Lena’s condition is Dr. Paley from Florida, USA. After six surgeries, Lena is able to walk on her own.  It was made possible with generous help of multitude of great people, the cost of these operations has totaled 1,400,000 PLN. Lena is still expecting 3 more surgeries scheduled for April 2018. The total cost of these upcoming operations is 1 million PLN, the family is still in need of 35,000 PLN. Lena, neurologically speaking is a healthy girl, and with the help of these operations she will be fully functional.
